Turkish Riviera: Dream Vacations

Antalya, located in the heart of the Turkish Riviera, is another top-rated holiday destination because of its numerous excellent historical sites, ranging from Aspendos to Myra, Side to Perge, along with its long coastline, turquoise waters, serene bays, and sporting activities. Almost every road in Antalya, known for its beautiful beaches and home to 231 Blue Flag-certified beaches, leads to a different beach. Some beaches are kilometres long, while others are hidden gems in mountains and coves. Kaputaş, for example… With its white sandy beach and turquoise sea, Kaputaş on the Kaş-Kalkan Road is stunning. With its enchantment, this little beach has been named one of the 50 most beautiful beaches in the world. Andrea Doria Bay, named after the Genoese Admiral Andrea Doria and located between the Finike-Demre road, is one of Antalya’s most fascinating beaches. This picturesque beach is surrounded by rocks, maquis, and wild olives and is visited by sea turtles and Mediterranean monk seals. Patara Beach, Türkiye’s second longest beach at 14 km in length, is also located in Antalya. This magnificent beach is one of Turkey’s most important sea turtle nesting areas. Because of this, between May 15 and September 15, visitors and sea turtles use Patara Beach alternately.

İzmir: Heart of Turkeagean

If you keep going south from Çanakkale, you will reach İzmir, the ‘Pearl of the Turkaeagean’. When talking about İzmir, the first thing that comes to mind is Çeşme, the city’s most popular tourist destination. Ilıca and Alaçatı beaches are the stars of Çeşme, with their beautiful sea and golden sands. Alaçatı Beach, famous for its calm and quiet water, is located about 13 kilometres from the centre of Çeşme. You can sunbathe and enjoy your cocktail under the Aegean sun at Alaçatı Beach, one of the cleanest beaches in Çeşme. Ilıca Beach, located in the Ilıca district of Çeşme, is another popular getaway spot in the region. The shallow, thermal spring waters that warm the seas around Ilıca are well-known. You can spend as much time as you wish swimming in the crystal-clear Aegean waters, relaxing in the endless sun, and enjoying the lovely weather.

Çanakkale: The Green Paradise in North Aegean

Many cities on Türkiye’s Aegean Sea coastline fill up with visitors during the summer. One of these is Çanakkale’s Assos shores, whose seas are slightly calmer yet captivating with their green cover. The region’s two most famous beaches are Assos Sokakağzı Beach and Kadırga Bay, surrounded by olive trees on both sides. However, when speaking about Çanakkale, Bozcaada and Gökçeada, the two beautiful Turkaeagean islands shouldn’t be forgotten.
