A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient city of Ephesus in İzmir’s Selçuk district is on every traveler’s itinerary. The area, continuously inhabited for about 9,000 years, has witnessed the Hellenistic, Roman, Eastern Roman, Principalities and Ottoman eras.
